Professional Background

Ms. Rokshenda Yasmin’s academic journey reflects her dedication to lifelong learning. She earned a Master of Arts in TESOL (English Language) from North South University, Dhaka (2010, CGPA 3.66), a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Humanities from the University of Arizona, Tucson, USA (1980, Grade: A), as well as her Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) from Holy Cross College, Dhaka (1975) and Secondary School Certificate (SSC) from Viqarunnisa Noon School, Dhaka (1973). Throughout her career, she has served in diverse professional capacities. Since 2017, she has been a Senior Consultant and Counselor at Chittagong Grammar School, Dhaka, where she provides counselling on academic, social, and emotional matters while advising senior management on student welfare policies. Between 2007 and 2018, she worked as a Trainer in Communication and Professional Development with S.P.E.E.D. and Bangladesh Bank Training Centre, where she designed and delivered impactful workshops on leadership and professional growth. Her earlier career includes teaching roles as an Economics Teacher at Scholastica International School (1993–1995) and as an English and History Teacher at Manarat International School and College (1981–1987).
