Academics & Professional Background

Mr. Fuad Ali is an AI-focused product leader and former engineer with experience spanning startup, enterprise, and Big Tech environments. He currently serves as an AI Product Manager (LLM) at Arize AI (2025–Present), working on observability and evaluation for large language models. Previously at Federato, he advanced from Software Engineer to Product Manager, co-leading product strategy, feature launches, and partnerships (2023–2025). His earlier engineering experience includes roles at Twitter (Trust & Safety), SpaceX (Flight Software), Tesla (Distributed Systems), Wealthsimple, Publicis Sapient, and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence. Fuad holds a B.Eng. in Electrical & Biomedical Engineering from McMaster University, where he earned the President’s Scholarship and participated in leadership and athletics.

Contribution to Education and Teaching

Mr. Ali’s engagement with education includes co-founding The Next Iteration Podcast (2019–present), a platform that explores ethics, technology, and psychology with over 10,000 listeners, as well as academic service at McMaster University as a Student Partner at the McPherson Institute, where he helped develop a new engineering course and facilitated student focus groups. He has served as a Teaching Assistant for Engineering Profession and Practice and has contributed to youth development through the Toronto Inner-City Rugby Foundation. On the Advisory Board of Marie Curie School, Fuad focuses on strengthening STEM and digital literacy, practical problem-solving, and responsible technology use across K–10, helping align curriculum and co-curricular programs with contemporary industry practices and student well-being.
